Soccer Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Palmer Trinity

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Palmer Trinity had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the True North Classical Academy Titans. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by just one goal.

Brooklyn Schiffrin was the driving force of Palmer Trinity's attack as she scored both of Palmer Trinity's goals, bringing her season total up to 18 goals.

The win (which was Palmer Trinity's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four contests. As for True North Classical Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Palmer Trinity challenge the St. John Paul II Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. John Paul II Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Palmer Trinity surely won't give up without a fight. True North Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
