Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Caroline). They put the hurt on the Wicomico Indians with a sharp 22-1 victory on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

North Caroline has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Wicomico, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, North Caroline will welcome Easton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wicomico, they will head out to face off against Chincoteague at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
