Clinton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 34-17 win over the Harmony Grove Cardinals. That's more bragging rights for the Yellowjackets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will venture away from home to take on Heber Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harmony Grove, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rison at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th.
