Baseball Recap: Bourbon County Comes Up Short

Bourbon County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 14-5 to the Montgomery County Indians. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-0 loss on Monday.

Bourbon County's record now sits at 2-18. As for Montgomery County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Bourbon County is taking a road trip to take on Bath County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montgomery County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Powell County at 6:00 p.m.
