Recap: Jones County Coyotes vs. Philip Scotties        
        
		
            
 It may have taken  overtime to finish the job, but the Jones County Coyotes ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Thursday. They secured a  55-50 W over Philip. The  win was just what Jones County needed coming off of a  67-27 loss in their prior  game.
 Jones County's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Kaden Kinsley, who  scored 16 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for him.  Jett Nix was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on ten points and ten  rebounds.
 Jones County's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 5-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Philip, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jones County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wall at 6:00  p.m.  on January 5th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in South Dakota (Wall is ranked 48th, while Jones County is ranked 69th). As for Philip, they will head out on the road to face off against Hill City at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
