Willow had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They really took it to the Academy of Our Lady Penguins for the full four quarters, racking up a 47-14 victory. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 24 points or more this season.

Willow has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.4 points per game. As for Academy of Our Lady, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willow has already played their next game (against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Academy of Our Lady will challenge St. Mary's Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
