Baseball Recap: TMI-Episcopal Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when TMI-Episcopal faced off against Smithville on Saturday. The TMI-Episcopal Panthers fell just short of the Smithville Tigers by a score of 2-1.

TMI-Episcopal saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brock Grullon, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

TMI-Episcopal has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. Smithville now has a winning record of 5-4.

Coincidentally, TMI-Episcopal and Smithville will both be playing Jefferson the next time they take the field. Smithville will head out to face Jefferson at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while TMI-Episcopal will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
