De Beque skates past Vail Christian with ease

The De Beque Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Vail Christian 63-14 on the road. That looming 63-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for De Beque yet this season.
De Beque got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Avery Rigsby out in front who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. Those 31 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Allyson Sandidge, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for De Beque and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for Vail Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. De Beque will take on West Grand at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. West Grand will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Vail Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Caprock Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Caprock Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
