Volleyball Recap: Milford Extends Home Winning Streak to 14

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Milford walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Sycamore Aviators with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: Sycamore scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.

Drew Ward was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had 13 digs and four assists. That's the most assists he has posted over his last nine games.

Milford pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sycamore, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

As of now, neither Milford nor the Aviators have any future games scheduled.
