Basketball Recap: Engadine Takes a Loss

Engadine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Newberry Indians an easy 54-34 victory. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in February.

Engadine's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Newberry, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Engadine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-46 defeat against Carney-Nadeau on the 19th. As for Newberry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-48 loss against Stephenson on the 18th.
