Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Somerset). They claimed a resounding 75-25 victory over the St. Croix Falls Saints. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while the Saints are ranked 441st), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Somerset back to even at 3-3. As for St. Croix Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Somerset and Unity will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Unity has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for St. Croix Falls, they will welcome Amery at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for St. Croix Falls: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Amery has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
