Football Recap: Thunder Ridge Takes a Loss

Thunder Ridge extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 2-5. They came up short against the Skyline Grizzlies, falling 31-7. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ryder Portmann threw for 112 yards and one TD. On the ground, Kaleb Brock rushed for 29 yards.

As for Skyline, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.2 points over those games.

It was another big night for Zyan Crockett, who rushed for 84 yards on only seven carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards.

Coming up, Thunder Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Blackfoot at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans' defense better be ready for this one: the Broncos have averaged an impressive 27.1 points per game this season. As for Skyline, they are taking a road trip to take on Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
