Morgan gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Muskingum Tornadoes. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Morgan never let West Muskingum on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 28-26, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, West Muskingum had strong showings from Brooke Beight, who had 12 digs, and Lila Gibson, who had seven digs.

West Muskingum's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Morgan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Coshocton on the 21st. West Muskingum has also already played their next matchup (against Liberty Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
