Softball Recap: Wheeler Falls Short of Immaculate in the Playoffs

Wheeler and Immaculate squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Wheeler had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 14-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

Wheeler's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Immaculate, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

While Wheeler had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
