Basketball Recap: Bleckley County Takes a Loss

Bleckley County came up into this matchup off a tough 26-point defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Central Chargers by a score of 44-41 on Thursday. The Royals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 43-39.

Despite the loss, Bleckley County still got an impressive performance from Nykez Farrow, who went 7-for-17 on his way to 18 points and five rebounds. Farrow's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kam'Ryn Everett, who posted six points and eight boards.

Bleckley County's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Bleckley County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-46 victory against Academy for Classical Education on the 7th. As for Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 71-57 defeat against Washington County on the 11th.
