Baseball Recap: Smith-Cotton Comes Up Short

Smith-Cotton came into this matchup off a tough seven-run defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Rock Bridge Bruins by a score of 8-6 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since May 3, 2024.

Karson Wiskur was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Jackson Bates was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
