Basketball Recap: IDEA Bridge Comes Up Short

IDEA Bridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 66-28 loss at the hands of the West Feliciana Saints. While losing is never fun, the Capitals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Saints are ranked 123rd).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Feliciana to victory, but perhaps none more so than Travis Lathers, who posted 11 points. Dewayne Snowden was another key player, putting up 11 points.

IDEA Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for West Feliciana, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

IDEA Bridge has already played their next contest (against Westgate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Feliciana will head out on the road to face off against Belaire at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
