Baseball Recap: Caldera Comes Up Short

Caldera managed to slip by Mountain View the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Caldera lost 14-1 to Mountain View on Wednesday. Caldera was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Mountain View earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Caldera saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Patterson, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Caldera has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Mountain View, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-13 record.

While Caldera had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
