Avoyelles Charter was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Evans on Saturday. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Vikings have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Avoyelles Charter's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Evans, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Avoyelles Charter wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-6 victory against Harrisonburg on the 24th. As for Evans, they have also already played their next game, a 19-0 win against Pleasant Hill on the 26th.
