The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls will head out to face off against the Mooresville Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hickory Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Mooresville will be up against a hot Hickory Ridge squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Ragin' Bulls' way against West Cabarrus on Friday as they made off with a 12-3 win. The Ragin' Bulls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Katelyn Kiser, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Victoria Porretta was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Hickory Ridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

Mooresville had taken Lake Norman down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Blue Devils fell 6-3 to the Wildcats.

Hickory Ridge pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mooresville, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Everything went Hickory Ridge's way against Mooresville in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Hickory Ridge made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ragin' Bulls since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
