Wolves came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against White House-Heritage. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Liberty Creek's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 104th, while White House-Heritage are ranked 236th).

Rhett Sanders and Yosua Jimenez scored both of Liberty Creek's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, McGavock came up short against Overton on Tuesday, falling 4-1. McGavock have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McGavock now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Liberty Creek, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-1.

Liberty Creek suffered a grim 10-2 defeat to McGavock when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
