That makes it three consecutive games in which Nohs has scored at least a third of Triangle Math & Science's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yashitha Vanamala, who scored five points along with eight assists and four steals.
Triangle Math & Science's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for Ascend Leadership, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Triangle Math & Science will head out on the road to face off against Clover Garden School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Clover Garden School is ranked 310th, while Triangle Math & Science is ranked 293rd). As for Ascend Leadership, they will be playing at home against Chatham Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chatham Charter is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.
