Basketball Recap: Orange Glen Takes a Loss

Orange Glen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Foothills Christian Knights and fell 65-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Patriots have suffered against the Knights since February 9, 2018.

Joey Turk continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Foothills Christian, putting up 26 points. The dominant performance gave Turk a new career-high in points. Sergio Martinez was another key player, scoring 11 points.

Orange Glen's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Foothills Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Orange Glen has already played their next game, a 63-50 defeat against San Diego Jewish Academy on the 16th. As for Foothills Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-34 win against Rock Academy on the 17th.
