Baseball Game Preview: Stevens Falcons vs. Marshall Rams

For the second straight game, Stevens will face off against Marshall. The Falcons will host the Rams at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Stevens has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Marshall will arrive with three straight wins.

On Tuesday, Stevens came up short against Marshall and fell 5-2.

Stevens got a good showing from Victor Garcia, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Garcia has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Stevens saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Tejeda, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Marshall now has a winning record of 12-11-1. As for Stevens, they now have a losing record of 13-14-1.
