Softball Recap: Kearney Catholic Stars vs. Lexington Minutemen

There's no place like home for Kearney Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They never let the Lexington Minutemen onto the board and left with a 15-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Stars, who have now won four games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Raegan Ruyle made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Twin River will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Kearney Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lexington, they will challenge Gothenburg on Thursday. Lexington has given up an average of 13.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
