Volleyball Recap: Beyer Beats Big Valley Christian for Their Third Straight Victory

Beyer posted their closest win since March 9, 2024 on Thursday. They skirted past the Big Valley Christian Lions 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won three games in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (101-98) Beyer actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-19, 12-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-13.

Beyer's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Sao Rodriguez, who had eight kills and two aces. Sao Rodriguez has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Cruz Hibbard, who had 16 assists.
