Baseball Recap: Tehachapi Snags 16th Win in Last 17 Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tehachapi had no problem doing just that on Friday. They skirted past the Exeter Monarchs 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since April 12, 2024.

Tehachapi has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Exeter, they dropped their record down to 18-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Tehachapi will take on San Joaquin Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Exeter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
