Wayne Memorial had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 26-point drubbing they dealt King on Tuesday. The Wayne Memorial Zebras blew past the King Crusaders 70-44. The Zebras have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Wayne Memorial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carlos Medlock Jr, who went 9-for-14 en route to 21 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Medlock Jr's evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Austin Tory was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Medlock Jr wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Wayne Memorial was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. Wayne Memorial is a perfect 22-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Wayne Memorial, bringing their record for this year to 24-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.4 points. As for King, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-6.

Coming up, Wayne Memorial will square off against Carman-Ainsworth at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Carman-Ainsworth will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Wayne Memorial surely won't give up without a fight. King does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
