Baseball Recap: Hico Has No Trouble Against Blum

Hico got themselves on the board against Blum on Tuesday, but Blum never followed suit. They blew past the Blum Bobcats 14-0. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 7-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Hico got a massive performance out of Kalder Holbrook, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Rainwater, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

The win made it two in a row for Hico and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hico will welcome San Saba at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Blum will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rio Vista at 7:00 p.m. on March 11th.
