The Paulding County Patriots will face off against the Cherokee Warriors at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Paulding County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5  runs per game  this season.
Paulding County easily dispatched McEachern on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Patriots fell just short of Westminster by a score of  4-2 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 18  runs in the game before, the Patriots couldn't push the score so high this time.
Paulding County got a good showing from  Ashlyn Whitton, who   tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. Whitton has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Kylee Stancil made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Cherokee and North Paulding meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Tuesday. The Warriors fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of  4-3.
 Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Paulding County, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 15-12.
