Basketball Recap: Issaquah's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday

Issaquah won the last time they faced Skyline and things went their way on Friday too. The Issaquah Eagles walked away with a 57-46 win over the Skyline Spartans. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Spartans are ranked 280th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Issaquah's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Skyline, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Issaquah is taking a road trip to challenge Renton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Issaquah knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Renton likes a good challenge. As for Skyline, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
