Soccer Game Preview: Lowell vs. Allendale

The Lowell Red Arrows will take on the Allendale Falcons at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Allendale took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lowell, who comes in off a win.

Lowell is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Kenowa Hills on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Lowell needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Allendale came up short against Western Michigan Christian on Saturday, falling 5-2.

Lowell has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four matchups. As for Allendale, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.

Lowell skirted past Allendale 3-2 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Arrows since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
