High school basketball: Kentucky's all-time leading scorer Travis Perry scores 40 points to lead Lyon County to City of Palms Signature Series title

Future Kentucky Wildcat signee added 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals to scoring total.

FORT MYERS, FLA. — Kentucky's all-time leading scorer Travis Perry poured in a game-high 40 points to lead Lyon County (Eddyville) to a 93-64 victory over Buckhorn (New Market, Ala.) in the City of Palms Classic Small Town Signature Series title game Friday night.

The four-star Kentucky signee also tallied 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals. He connected on 15 of 22 field goal attempts, 7 of 11 from beyond the arc and 3 of 4 from the free throw line.
 
Senior guard Jack Reddick of Lyon County produced a triple-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. University of Tennessee-Martin signee Brady Shoulders chipped in 21 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

Five-star sophomore Caleb Holt finished with 30 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals on 12 of 20 shooting from the field and 3 of 7 from 3-point range in the loss.

Lyon County was in control throughout the lopsided contest, leading 25-17 at the end of the first quarter, 51-28 at halftime and 77-41 at the end of the third period. 



The Lyons shot 57.4 percent from the field, 57.1 percent from beyond the arc and 78.5 percent from the free throw line, while holding Buckhorn to 39.3 percent from the field and 29 percent from 3-point range.
