Connelly School of the Holy Child can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against Flint Hill by a score of 59-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Connelly School of the Holy Child also won the last time the pair played on January 3rd.

Despite the loss, Flint Hill still got an impressive performance from Raigan Mccalla, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 17 rebounds. That was a full 45.8% of Flint Hill's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Tatum Carney was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.

The victory got Connelly School of the Holy Child back to even at 9-9. As for Flint Hill, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Connelly School of the Holy Child will take on Sidwell Friends at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flint Hill, they will head out on the road to square off against Potomac School at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. Potomac School presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Flint Hill in Virginia (Potomac School is ranked 11th, while Flint Hill is ranked 75th).
