Volleyball Recap: Morgan's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

After a string of five wins, Morgan's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against the Valley Regional Warriors, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Huskies have suffered since September 19th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18, 25-15.

Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Valley Regional, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Morgan will take on rival North Branford at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Valley Regional is set to challenge their familiar foe Old Lyme at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
