NELA Christian Homeschool put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 40-32 victory over the Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics Storm. Given the Flame's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Storm are ranked 261st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics lost, don't look at Sadie Sharbono. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. What's more, Sharbono also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Rylie Sharbono, who posted three points.

NELA Christian Homeschool's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 12-11 record.
