Soccer Game Preview: L.C. Bird vs. Prince George

The L.C. Bird Skyhawks will head out to square off against the Prince George Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. L.C. Bird is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

L.C. Bird proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by four) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past Richmond High School for the Arts 2-1.

Meanwhile, Prince George's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Thomas Dale. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Prince George came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Thomas Dale are ranked 270th).

Prince George's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-2. As for L.C. Bird, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.
