Soccer Game Preview: Klein vs. Magnolia

The Klein Bearkats will face off against the Magnolia Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Klein's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Tuesday, Klein didn't have quite enough to beat Tomball Memorial and fell 4-3. While losing is never fun, the Bearkats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 47th).

Meanwhile, Magnolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Magnolia West.

Klein has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9-5 record this season. Magnolia's loss dropped their record down to 8-13-2.
