Volleyball Preview: Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs vs. Piney Woods Tornadoes        
        
		
             After six games on the road, Mississippi School for the Deaf is heading back home. They will host the Piney Woods Tornadoes  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Saturday, Mississippi School for the Deaf beat Tennessee School for the Deaf 2-0.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23,  25-19.
 Meanwhile, Piney Woods had to kick off their season on the road last Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past Provine  3-2. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tornadoes as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.
 Piney Woods took Provine into a fifth set  where they got it done with a seven-point win. After all that action, the final score was 19-25, 25-20, 17-25, 25-16,  15-8.
 Mississippi School for the Deaf's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Piney Woods, their victory  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 1-0.
 Mississippi School for the Deaf took their  win against Piney Woods  in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023 by a conclusive  3-0. Does  Mississippi School for the Deaf have another victory up their sleeve, or will Piney Woods turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
