Ramah came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Navajo Pine, but Riley Dawes wouldn't allow it. The Navajo Pine Warriors walked away with a 48-40 win over the Ramah Mustangs on Tuesday thanks in part to Dawes, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in field goal percentage (71%).

Mikayla Baker was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five boards and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last seven games she's played.

Navajo Pine's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 5-15. As for Ramah, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Looking ahead, Navajo Pine will head out to challenge Laguna Acoma at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ramah, they will host Hozho Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
