Volleyball Recap: Bakersfield Gets the Win

Bakersfield won the last time they faced Seymour and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Bakersfield was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 22-25, 25-10.

When it comes to explaining why Seymour lost, don't look at Elianna Wallace. Despite the final result, she had 27 digs and two aces. Wallace is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Bakersfield's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Seymour, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-16-1.

Looking ahead, Bakersfield will welcome Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seymour, they will square off against Conway at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
