Basketball Recap: Buckeye Central Comes Up Short

Buckeye Central lost against Wynford back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Buckeye Central Bucks took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wynford Royals. While losing is never fun, the Bucks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 473rd, while the Royals are ranked 198th).

Buckeye Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Wynford, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Buckeye Central will be playing at home against Colonel Crawford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Colonel Crawford's defense has only allowed 26.7 points per game this season, so Buckeye Central's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Wynford, they will take on Upper Sandusky at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
