Basketball Recap: Midway Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Midway won the last time they faced Rockwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Midway Green Wave came out on top against the Rockwood Tigers by a score of 53-43. That's two games straight that the Green Wave have won by exactly ten points.

When it comes to explaining why Rockwood lost, don't look at Jayden Davidson. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-20 on his way to 25 points. The dominant performance gave Davidson a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Keegan Koch, who posted four points and five rebounds.

Midway pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points over those games. As for Rockwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.
