Basketball Recap: Madison Southern Takes a Loss

Madison Southern lost against Corbin back in December of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Madison Southern Eagles fell to the Corbin Redhounds 65-59.

Madison Southern's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Corbin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.

Madison Southern and Corbin could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. Madison Southern will face off against Anderson County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday down 71 places (105 vs. 34). Similarly, Corbin (ranked 49th) will meet North Laurel (ranked third) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
