Soccer Recap: Whitefish Bay Comes Up Short

If Whitefish Bay was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Augustine Prep on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Dukes came up short against the Franklin Sabers on Thursday, falling 4-0. It was the first time this season that Whitefish Bay let down their fans at home.

Whitefish Bay's loss dropped their record down to 8-3-3. As for Franklin, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-2-3.

Whitefish Bay and Franklin should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Blue Dukes will challenge Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (17 vs. 158). Meanwhile, Franklin (ranked 15th) will meet Racine Horlick (ranked 211th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
