Recap: Southwestern Warriors vs. Pulaski County Maroons        
        
		
            
 The Southwestern Warriors had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with  a   66-58  victory over Pulaski County. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 Leading Southwestern to victory were  Kinsley Molden and  Payton Acey.  Molden  went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 1 assist, while  Acey  scored 26 points along with five  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Acey has scored all season.  Kylie Dalton was another key contributor,  scoring five points along with eight  rebounds.
 Southwestern is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Pulaski County, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 11-5.
 Southwestern won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Sevier County at 12:15  p.m.  on January 13th. Sevier County is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Pulaski County, they will be playing at home against Rockcastle County at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Kentucky (Rockcastle County is ranked 24th, while Pulaski County is ranked 21st).
