Soccer Game Preview: Turner vs. Lone Star

The Turner Lions will face off against the Lone Star Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Turner will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Turner's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Creekview by a score of 2-0. Given Turner's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Creekview are ranked 524th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in February, Lone Star was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and Reedy finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Turner's win bumped their record up to 11-2-6. Lone Star's draw gives them a new season record of 8-8-3.
