Basketball Game Preview: Westwood Patriots vs. Gladstone Braves

The Westwood Patriots are taking a road trip to take on the Gladstone Braves at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Westwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Gladstone likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Westwood didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Iron Mountain, but they still walked away with a 61-56 victory.

Meanwhile, Gladstone came up short against Gwinn on Friday and fell 59-49. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westwood's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Gladstone, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Westwood against Gladstone when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 62-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westwood since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
