Soccer Recap: Flagstaff Takes a Loss

Flagstaff managed to keep up with Mingus until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Flagstaff Eagles lost 4-0 to the Mingus Marauders. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Marauders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Flagstaff's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 6-6-1. As for Mingus, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flagstaff will head out to face off against Bradshaw Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mingus has already played their next game (against Mohave), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
