Baseball Recap: Stillwater Comes Up Short

Stillwater came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to the Mechanicville Red Raiders. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Red Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Stillwater saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Kramek, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Kramek is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Stillwater's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-1. As for Mechanicville, their record now sits at 8-9.

While Stillwater had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
